Atlanta’s Favorite for Flavorful Fast Food in a Flash Turns Fans’ Faces into Outdoor Ads

ATLANTA (Oct. 11, 2017) – For two lucky fans, “living life with gusto!” will soon include a starring role on an Atlanta billboard. That’s because gusto! founder Nate Hybl has announced the start of the restaurant’s #gustobillboardchampionship to feature the faces of two winning customers in a January 2018 advertising campaign. Now through November, fans of the fast-casual restaurant focused on flavor and speed can nominate  a friend or themselves to be in the spotlight and have the chance to spread their hearty enthusiasm for gusto! to thousands of area drivers and pedestrians along Ponce de Leon Avenue. It’s the stuff that (billboard) dreams are made of.

“We appreciate the guests who champion our brand, and this is a fun, bold way for us to embrace them and the communities that make up Atlanta,” says Hybl of the decision to host the billboard championship.

There is no purchase necessary and no limit to the number of entries per person. gusto! is offering two very simple ways to enter, as well as an option for nominating friends for this exciting opportunity.

  1. Fill out an entry slip at either restaurant location.
  2. Tag three friends on any gusto! Facebook or Instagram post. The tagged friends are automatically entered in the contest with their consent.  

At the end of November, two winners are going to be chosen at random via in-store and social media drawings. The winners receive a professional, stylized photo shoot in early December for their billboard photographs. Located above Green’s Beverages on Ponce de Leon Avenue, the first billboard will be unveiled on Jan. 1, 2018. Each winner’s face, along with their name and neighborhood, will be featured on the billboard for two weeks during the month of January. 

The restaurant’s belief that there is beauty in using straightforward ingredients also translates to its advertising strategy. “The billboard is minimally branded and very simple because we want it to be about the guests’ faces – that is the true spirit of the promotion,” says Hybl. “In my experience, the best companies find a way to put their customers in the limelight.”
