BULLA GASTROBAR INTRODUCES NEW MENU ITEMS FOR SPRING
Midtown’s New Favorite Spot for Tapas and Spanish Cuisine Debuts Catalan-Style Cannelloni and Seasonal Dinner Menu of Bold Spring Flavors

ATLANTA (March 28, 2018) – At Bulla Gastrobar, the new spring season delivers more than warm temperatures and refreshing breezes. On March 28, Atlanta’s favorite dining spot for authentic, contemporary tapas is rolling out a brand-new dish - Catalan-style cannelloni - as well as a seasonal spring dinner menu packed with bold flavors. All are perfect for enjoying in Bulla Gastrobar’s lively, communal atmosphere inspired by the famous gastrobars of Spain.

“Spring is a time of renewal, and these new menu items reflect that,” says Centurion Restaurant Group founder and president Carlos Centurion. “We’re especially proud of our cannelloni, an inspired take on the national dish of Barcelona. It was a very popular dish at my family’s restaurant in Miami, so it carries a lot of nostalgia for me. Our guests are going to love it and our exciting new spring menu items, as well.”

Each order of the cannelloni comes with three tubes of authentic Spanish pasta filled with soft cream cheese and a very “Bulla” mix of ground veal, beef and pork cooked with spices and cheese for a robust flavor. It is topped with a homemade béchamel sauce and tetilla cheese, then garnished with paprika bread crumbs for a crunchy finish. Price is $15 for lunch and $17 for dinner.

Additionally, the limited-time spring menu boasts the following tantalizing options available at dinner only:

·        Tosta de Setas ($9): Toasted pan del cristal topped with a thin layer of ricotta cheese, sautéed cremini and Portobello mushrooms; drizzled with a Pedro Ximénez glaze and garnished with parsley.
·        Grilled peach salad ($14.50): Arugula and artisan lettuce tossed with a light citrus dressing and grilled fresh peaches with seasoned EVOO; topped with cured Serrano ham and burrata cheese, then drizzled with a Pedro Ximénez glaze.
·        Roasted oysters ($16): A half-dozen oysters topped with a compound butter consisting of lemon, garlic, leeks and a hint of Tabasco, then roasted in the oven.
·        Costillas Pedro Ximénez ($14): Tender, fall-off-the-bone St. Louis pork ribs slowly cooked for four hours, then glazed with a Pedro Ximénez wine reduction. Served with a side of pickled vegetables (carrots, cucumber, asparagus, guindilla and red onions). This is a tapas-style dish, served with four ribs per order.
·        Canarian cheese spread, “Almogrote” ($9): This traditional tapa from the small island of La Gomera in the Canary Islands is made with whipped Mahón and cream cheese mixed with guindilla peppers, cayenne pepper and smoked paprika; served with crostini.
In the heart of Midtown right next to the Federal Reserve Building, Bulla Gastrobar is located at 60 11th Street NE and serves lunch and dinner Monday-Friday, with brunch and dinner service on Saturday and Sunday. Plentiful validated parking is available at 12th and Midtown. For more information, call 404-900-6926 or visit bullagastrobar.com.

Vantage Realty Partners UNITES ART, ARCHITECTURE AND COMMUNITY WITH NEW Atlanta BeltLine Development
Kevin Gillespie dining concept and Shake Shack help anchor retail, restaurant and office space between Edgewood and DeKalb Avenues

ATLANTA (March 20, 2018) - Imagine enjoying the BeltLine scene while sipping a killer cocktail from the patio of Atlanta chef Kevin Gillespie’s newest venture, gathering with friends over at a wine bar and bottle shop led by sommelier Melissa Davis and then taking a stroll on the city’s ultra-intown amenity, the Eastside BeltLine Trail. With Vantage Realty Partner’s launch of a new multi-use project on the stretch between Edgewood and DeKalb Avenues, that dream will become reality.

Bordering the red-hot historic Atlanta neighborhoods Old Fourth Ward, Inman Park and Cabbagetown along Atlanta’s BeltLine, the 28,000-square-foot project set to open in spring 2019 will serve as the new home of:

·        Cold Beer, the newest culinary creation from Atlanta chef/author Kevin Gillespie and his Red Beard Restaurants. Described as the sister to Gillespie’s much-celebrated Gunshow, Cold Beer will feature a beverage program from cocktail expert Mercedes O’Brien along with a menu of shareable dishes. With a patio on the roof and two patios adjacent to the BeltLine, Cold Beer’s communal seating, interactive service and edgy drinks and eats will create a gathering spot for neighbors and visitors.
·        Hazel Jane’s Wine & Coffee, a wine bar concept by Revelator where natural and biodynamic wines take center stage. Hazel Jane’s wine and beverage program will operate under the direction of certified sommelier, Melissa Davis (Staplehouse, Cakes & Ale). The day-to-night location features a full-service kitchen, a coffee and espresso counter, a large central bar in the heart of the space, and a convenient BeltLine adjacent patio & bottle shop.
·        Shake Shack, the critically acclaimed modern day roadside burger stand. Designed by Smith Hanes, the Shack will be constructed to reflect the Old Fourth Ward’s charm, using recycled and sustainable materials, booths made from lumber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and tabletops constructed from reclaimed bowling alley lanes. A reflection of Shake Shack’s commitment to community investment, the menu will feature exclusive items in collaboration with local purveyors and proceeds from certain menu items will benefit a local charity partner.

“With the BeltLine expansion, we’re witnessing one of the fastest evolving eras of growth in Atlanta’s history,” says Vantage Realty Partners co-founder Chris Carter. “As retail and office space evolve, we want to provide spaces that complement, serve and reflect the character of these unique neighborhoods. When I walk my three children past this development, I want to feel proud and know that what we have created is a direct reflection of who Vantage is.”

The cornerstone of Vantage Realty Partners is built on using elements of art, architecture and community to create gathering spots that connect people, resulting in lasting memories. This new project is the first to encompass both sides of the BeltLine, which means the retail, restaurant and loft office spaces will coexist with the BeltLine Trail and also offer abundant space for rotating art installations featuring the work of local artists.

Says Vantage Realty’s Gene Rice: “Our focus is on carefully balancing and respecting the history, culture and character of what has previously existed here while continuing the momentum the BeltLine brings to the community. The vision for this project is to join the Eastside and Memorial Drive sections of Atlanta’s BeltLine while providing exciting new spaces for a city that has quickly become one of the most in-demand places for people and businesses from around the world.

Vantage Realty Partners still has available two retail spots consisting of 2,356 square feet and 1,693 square feet (or could be combined for a 4,049-square feet space), one 5,621-square foot restaurant space and a 2,600-square foot to 7,500-square foot loft office space. For leasing inquiries, contact Chris Carter at 404-966-0649 or chris@vantageatl.com.

HOBNOB NEIGHBORHOOD TAVERN BRINGING TAVERN FARE WITH SOUTHERN FLAIR
TO DUNWOODY’S PERIMETER PLACE
Third Outpost of Spirited Restaurant Opening Late Summer

ATLANTA (Mar. 15, 2018) – Husband and wife team Sean and Becky Yeremyan are excited to share the news that a third HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern location is opening in Dunwoody’s Perimeter Place (1221 Ashford Crossing) in late summer. Classic, Southern-inspired comfort food served in a cozy, customer-friendly environment accounts for the popularity of the restaurant, which has expanded from its original Midtown location to include a Town Brookhaven outpost. In addition to tavern fare with Southern flair, HOBNOB also offers one of the most comprehensive bourbon lists in the Southeast.

“One of the key reasons we’re able to expand successfully is our employees,” Yeremyan says. “Guests constantly tell me ‘we love your food, but we really love your people.’ I appreciate hearing that because I believe we have a great team who provide what I call ‘unconditional hospitality.’ As I was studying possible locations, I remembered how many Brookhaven customers told me they live in Dunwoody and would love to have HOBNOB there.”

Given the Perimeter restaurant’s proximity to retail shops and office buildings, Yeremyan is tweaking the service model to suit its location. “Weeknights will be one of our primary focuses here,” he says. “It will be the perfect place to stop and throw back a beer or sip one of our delicious specialty cocktails after a long day of work or shopping. We’re also going to focus heavily on a new catering menu to help area businesses work through lunch in the most tasteful manner.”

At HOBNOB, the party starts with a chef-driven menu featuring gourmet burgers, classic entrees, gluten-free options and more. Complementing the high-quality tavern fare is a craft beverage menu boasting one of the largest selections of bourbons in the Southeast along with an extensive selection of craft beer, wine, boozy and non-alcoholic milkshakes and signature hand-crafted cocktails.
HOBNOB Perimeter will serve lunch weekdays, dinner nightly and brunch on the weekends. Guests can also still count on live music and daily specials such as Slider Night, BBQ Thursdays and more.

HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern currently has two locations: 1551 Piedmont Ave. NE in Midtown, 404-968-2288; and 804 Town Boulevard in Brookhaven, 404-464-8971. For more information, visit hobnobatlanta.com, or follow HOBNOB on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for additional updates.

What Do Jennifer Aniston, Uma Thurman and Gwyneth Paltrow Have in Common?

What do Jennifer Aniston, UmA Thurman and Gwyneth paltrow have in common?
On any given night, a Marvel superhero, Jennifer Aniston, or sushi connoisseur
Robert DeNiro might be in The Umi dining room in Atlanta

ATLANTA (March 2, 2018) - As Hollywood film production rapidly becomes a multi-billion dollar industry in Georgia, A-list actors increasingly need a place to unwind, relax and enjoy a premier meal. In Atlanta, that place has become Umi, Buckhead’s modern Japanese jewel box owned by Farshid Arshid and Charlie Hendon and starring the cuisine of executive chef and co-owner Fuyuhiko Ito.

“Hunger Games” actress Jennifer Lawrence routinely calls from the airport as soon as her jet hits the tarmac in Atlanta. “Avengers” Iron Man portrayer Robert Downey Jr., in town as Marvel’s highly anticipated 2018 “Avengers: Infinity War” shoots continue, is spotted at Umi so often he might soon have mail delivered there. On any given night, diners could see other “Avengers” stars like Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson or Samuel L. Jackson sitting a few feet away. Emmy winner Jennifer Aniston, Oscar winner Jane Fonda or legendary performer Sir Elton John have also been known to enjoy a meal at the restaurant that is commonly referred to as “Umiwood”.

Celebrity favorites on the menu include Chef Ito’s specialties like the aburi (slightly cooked sushi-grade fish), toban yaki (prepared on a ceramic toban grill) or omakase (chef’s selection of dishes).

For Arshid, the pairing of Hollywood A-listers and Umi’s exquisite sushi makes perfect sense.  Over the years, he’s seen firsthand how the creative industry flocks to this type of food. “Artists respond to artistry,” he says. “They respond to what Chef Ito is creating. At Umi, the stargazing is focused on the cuisine arriving at the tables.”

While Umi didn’t anticipate becoming a Hollywood hangout when it opened in 2013, the 80-table restaurant discreetly tucked away in a Buckhead courtyard has become one of the most sought-after reservations in the city thanks to low lighting, around-the-clock reservation responsiveness and VIP treatment. Arshid says he and the staff are pleased actors like Anthony Hopkins, Robert Deniro, Scott Eastwood, Zac Efron, Uma Thurman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet and so many more feel at home there.

“You don’t plan for a response like this,” says Arshid. “Umi’s success has grown organically alongside the Georgia film industry. And like any great film that’s built line-by-line and scene-by-scene, we focus on the details. No matter who you are, we’re always striving for your next meal to be your best experience at Umi.”

He adds that Hollywood’s busiest actors are able to relax and unwind at Umi. “Everyone is here for the harmony and the energy that are being created. Famous actors dine next to Atlanta business leaders and the couple who is out celebrating their anniversary. We’re all so addicted to our electronic devices these days, but Umi offers an opportunity to disconnect and be in the moment for a couple of hours, sharing a memorable meal together.”

About Umi
Named one of Open Table’s 100 Best Restaurants in America for 2017, Umi unites classic and modern Japanese flavors in a sophisticated, contemporary setting in Atlanta’s bustling Buckhead neighborhood. Designed by Atlanta artist and designer Todd Murphy, the interior is elegant, yet simple with organic, earthy elements closely reflecting the pure and clean qualities of Asian fare. Chef Fuyuhiko Ito’s menu showcases the freshest fish from the world’s finest markets and highest quality ingredients available. For more information, visit umiatlanta.com.
