Cereal Doughnuts Make Limited Weekly Appearance at Atlanta’s Home for Chef-Crafted Pastries

ATLANTA (May 9, 2017) – What’s more fun than finding the prize hidden in the cereal box? When the surprise IS the cereal box! Sublime Doughnuts is giving guests a sweet pairing for their weekend cartoons with a new featured doughnut that changes weekly: the Saturday Morning Cereal doughnut.

The Atlanta bakeshop beloved for its funky doughnuts has a knack for making guests feel like kids again, giddy with excitement over owner Kamal Grant’s innovative flavors. Now, Grant makes a trip to the grocery store every Saturday morning to purchase two boxes of cereal at random – one box goes to the shop’s Midtown location and the other goes to the North Druid Hills location. Then, each shop creates a limited supply of special cereal doughnuts based on the chosen box. Flavors could include any cereal from Cap’n Crunch to Kellogg’s Raisin Bran.

Sublime begins churning out the doughnuts at 7 a.m. each Saturday until the limited supply runs out, so arriving in pajamas is perfectly acceptable.  After all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
