Summer’s here! With the school year coming to an end, families are in search of new ways to spend quality time together—including family-friendly restaurants! There are several Atlanta-area options to choose from with special menus, including those near popular family hot spots:

If you’re spending the afternoon at Piedmont Park or the Atlanta Botanical Garden, try HOBNOB in Midtown. With a sunny (and dog-friendly!) patio, HOBNOB is the perfect spot to take a break with the kiddos.

For entertainment and a meal, Atkins Park in Virginia Highland has a play area for children in the dining room. If you’re attending an event at Phillips Arena, Game-X in the Luckie Marietta District offers the X-Treme Combo Monday – Friday, 3 – 10 p.m. When purchasing any entrée, add a $10 X-card for $6. (Combo must be mentioned while the guest is ordering, and must be on the same check as the entrée. Not valid for private events.)

All Bantam + Biddy locations offer the Little Clucker’s menu (including gluten-free fried chicken fingers!) and have the Family Meal available for a quick take-out option after a long day out and about.

Need a change from the usual kid fare? Tin Drum’s menu features out-of-the-ordinary options, including stir-fries and noodles. Plus, the Atlantic Station and Akers Mill locations are convenient to movie theaters for meals on the way to see those summer blockbusters!

The kids menu at Willy’s Mexicana Grill provides a break from the ordinary, too, with burrito and taco combos plus beverage choices including apple juice and organic milk. There’s even a location close enough to grab a meal on the way to or from Kennesaw National Park.

Tin Lizzy's kid-friendly items include the crowd-pleasing Taco Plate: one grilled chicken or grilled steak taco with lettuce and Monterey Jack cheese, served with a choice of tater tots, rice or black beans.

When the craving for summer seafood hits, The Big Ketch is the place to go. All kids’ items—including crispy fish bites and grilled or fried shrimp—are served with chips, cole slaw or corn on the cob and a beverage.

Grown-ups aren’t the only ones looking for something that sounds a little fancy! At Marlow's Tavern, the kids menu includes Surf & Turf: one tiny burger, cheddar cheese and tempura fried shrimp.

Driving to the beach or Disney World this summer? No problem! Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails in Jacksonville, FL, is a go-to pit stop with dishes the whole family will love. The menu highlights ingredients carefully sourced from local farms and purveyors.  Plus, who wouldn’t want to choose from their selection of handmade sodas, including the Papa Smurf? (Don’t forget to check out the Marlow’s Tavern location in Orlando, too.)
