John C. Metz and Partners Add Third North Fulton Location of Popular Tavern
ATLANTA (October 8, 2015) – Roswell is known for having
something for everyone – nature, culture, history. Thanks to Marlow’s Tavern, Atlanta’s favorite
neighborhood restaurant, Roswell now has a tavern that offers something to eat
for everyone, too. Marlow's world-class hospitality, chef-driven fare and
creative cocktails can be found at 625 W. Crossville Road in the Roswell
Crossing shopping center beginning Oct. 20.
“Roswell combines the best of Georgia history with the best
of contemporary culture," says John C. Metz, executive chef and co-founder
of Marlow’s Tavern. "We’re looking forward to being part of that dynamic
and adding another location in North Fulton. We opened our very first restaurant
in Alpharetta 11 years ago and have been getting requests ever since to come to
Roswell.”
Featuring crisp, cool salads, classic American burgers, fun
food for the kids and more, the menu at Marlow’s Tavern focuses on fresh
ingredients with seasonal, locally sourced items when available. The Roswell kitchen
is in skilled hands with chef Bob Lescanec, who recently opened Marlow's Tavern
in Woodstock.
The management team also has proven experience, led by
general manager Darren Foley, a Marlow's veteran moving from the Avalon
location. “Whether you're on your way to
one of the nearby high school football games and stopping in for a classic
tavern burger, or want something light like our grilled salmon before heading
to the theater, we’re here to satisfy your appetite for delicious food and
friendly service,” Foley promises.
Beverage hospitality manager Damir Kamber, a Roswell
resident, is eager to welcome guests with a tasty libation. “Roswell is rich in
history; we like to think of our cocktails as history-in-the-making. All of our
signature drinks start with fresh fruit juices, house-made simple syrups, fresh
herbs and small batch liquors. We’ve also got wines from around the world and
an enviable selection of draft, bottled and canned beers, including local craft
brews and national favorites.”
The new Roswell location features an open-air patio with bar
access, beckoning guests to enjoy a delicious meal and refreshing beverage al
fresco.
Marlow’s Tavern Roswell is open for lunch and dinner daily
from 11 a.m. The restaurant is located at 625 W. Crossville Road in the Roswell
Crossing shopping center, near Trader Joe's.
